Ahern Shires and Clydesdales

Ahern Shires and Clydesdales is a family-run stud and one of the largest Shire and Clydesdale stud in Braidwood and surrounding regional districts.

The stud breeds a select number of Shire and Clydesdale foals each year, combining established Australian and international bloodlines with a focus on quality, temperament, movement and versatility.

Ahern horses are bred for led, ridden, harness and breeding pursuits, with the stud proudly represented at shows across NSW and VIC.

We are committed to preserving the heritage of these magnificent breeds while breeding quality heavy horses for future generations.
