Darren Phelan has brought the American Wild West to life in Australia. On his 4-hectare property in the Dandenong Ranges, he has built an entire mid-1850s colonial town replica, complete with a coach house, working pub, stables, blacksmith shop, and more. Over the past three decades, Darren has assembled an impressive collection that includes 20 horse-drawn carriages and 9 Clydesdale horses. His creative vision offers a one-of-a-kind backdrop for unique celebrations and unforgettable photo opportunities. In 2018, Darren and his wife Angie opened the property for special events. Two years later, they launched it as a bed and breakfast where couples can have rustic yet elegant weddings customised to fit any budget. Phelan's replica town brings the spirit of the historical American frontier to life in the Australian bush.
